FameDub Privacy Policy

Thank you for using FameDub ("FameDub," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the FameDub mobile application (the "App") and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

We do not collect or store your raw payment‑card numbers. All payments are processed by the platform marketplace (Apple or Google).

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your information to:

  1. Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
  2. Generate AI voiceovers and lip‑synced videos at your request.
  3. Manage your account, subscriptions, and in‑App purchases.
  4. Monitor and analyze usage to improve performance and develop new features.
  5. Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse.
  6. Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support.
  7. Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
  8. Send you marketing communications only with your explicit consent (opt‑in).

3. Sharing & Disclosure of Information

We never sell your personal data. We disclose it only:

  • Service Providers. Cloud hosting and database (Supabase), analytics platforms, email service providers – strictly limited to performing services on our behalf.
  • Analytics & Crash Reporting: We use Mixpanel for anonymous event tracking and Sentry for error/crash reporting. These services are used strictly within the app environment and do not collect data for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
  • Payment Platforms. Apple and Google transmit purchase data to verify subscriptions.
  • Compliance with Laws. Where legally required (court orders, law‑enforcement requests).
  • Business Transfers. In connection with any merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
  • With Your Consent. If you direct us to share or otherwise give us permission.

All vendors are bound by confidentiality and data‑processing agreements.

4. Data Retention

  • Account data – stored as long as your account remains active.
  • Generated content – retained for up to 30 days on our servers, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless you explicitly save or share it.
  • Analytics – aggregated data retained indefinitely for statistical analysis.
  • Backup copies – kept for up to 90 days in secure archives and then purged.

5. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards such as:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption in transit and encryption at rest.
  • Secure password hashing.
  • Role‑based access controls.
  • Regular vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.

However, no online service is 100 % secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

6. Children's Privacy

CelebrityDub is not directed to children under 13 (or younger, if local law sets a higher age). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. International Data Transfers

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country (including the United States). Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards to protect EU/EEA user data.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing).
  • Receive a copy of your data in portable format (data portability).
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data‑protection authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may also opt‑out of "sharing" for cross‑context behavioral advertising and request information about categories of data disclosed.

9. Third‑Party Links & Content

The App may contain links to external sites or allow you to share content via social platforms. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of third parties.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in‑App notice or email. The revised Policy becomes effective upon posting. Continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the new terms.
